CLUB MEMBERSHIP & Attendance
WHATS REquired??? How to join???

We understand that not everyone wants to play so we provide multiple membership options.

• Traditional Membership: You play and have the option of having leadership roles in teams or the club such as Team Captain, Strategist, and other Club Officer Positions.

• The Office Membership (NO GAMES): Want a simple, low-commitment club position that doesn't require hours of dedication a week (allowing you to focus on studies) while still being able to stay competitive on college applications? You're in the right place than. The Frost Football Club Office Membership lets you have a simple club job that requires up to an hour of duties per week OR even signup for club officer positions which looks absolutely awesome on college applications. AND, those who choose this path are higher prioritized for Club Officer roles meaning that you have an even better chance of climbing the ladder. Some positions we have involve social media management, videography and photography, website and coding, video and photo editing, and much much more.

*Disclaimer: although those who choose the Officer Membership pathway do get higher prioritization and more consideration when applying to Club Officer roles, it is not at all guaranteed that you will get one. We still look for people with the best fit qualities for the positions.

Being part of a club is a privelege not a right.

The following is what's expected of all members:

• Once every 2-4 months you will be required to participate in a Campus Beautification throughout lunch (GHC Requirement)

• Keep a 2.00 GPA or higher and maintain low misconduct and behavioural issues (GHC Requirement)

• Attend at least 70% of games youre scheduled to play in

• Attend at least 70% of games youre scheduled to Referee AND be a good and fair referee

• Keep misconduct to a low during games (Minimize Yellow & Red Cards)

There are two types of penalties, Game Misconduct Penalties and Club Membership Penalties. Please see both the sections below

GAME MISCONDUCT PENALTIES

For every red card received it is an automatic 1 game suspension + additional games if red cards happens too often

For every 3 Yellow Cards accumulated within a season it is a 1 game suspension.

Further investigation and penalties can happen if misconduct is continuous.

CLUB MEMBERSHIP PENALTIES

Those in violation of the Attendance Policy & Expectations will be required to make up UNEXCUSED DAYS ONLY. If they do not make it up as according to the makeup options in the Attendane Policy, they will not be eligible for Postseason or Playoff Events

Those in violation of other Membership Policy rules will receive suspension until they are fixed.
